“Graffiti is writing or drawings made on a wall or other surface, usually as a form of artistic expression, without permission and within public view.” – Wikipedia. If I have been lucky enough for you to have taken the time to read some of my other bits of bloggy writing you would’ve noticed a few common threads.Common thread number one: I’m awesome (facts are facts) and another thread that I have focused on is the journey I’ve taken to have reached a point in my life where I am happy in my own skin.

For people to be 100% unashamedly themselves ‘without permission and within public view’ is not an easy journey to undertake. Especially when it is something that history has depicted to be “wrong.” Thank goodness I now live in the 21st century where I am afforded the opportunity to live my truest self, a self I can express so accurately through fashion. This is not to say that this world we live in is not still without it’s close-minded issues, but these just don’t affect me like they did in the past.

Not only do I love this outfit because it is expressive in so many different ways, but the small messages conveyed are simple little crumbs left for the reader to hopefully find their way to positive reinforcement and just a little bit of good ol’ happiness and cheer.
